When school closed this past semester. My family and I had the opportunity to travel to Krabi Province, which is in the southern part of Thailand. We often drive here during long holidays. It took me about 5 hours to drive from my home in Malaysia to Krabi province. My family and I love going to the beach and eating. Fresh seafood regularly. This time we spent about 3 days relaxing. If we talk about the southern part of Thailand, most of them have many famous tourist attractions, mostly the sea and temples. For example, today's first trip. We had planned to go to a temple to worship. Which is one of the top ten most beautiful temples in Phuket. That is Wat Mahathat Wachiramongkol
Wat Mahathat Wachiramongkol is a beautiful temple planted on a large area. There will be many Thai and foreign tour groups coming here. The highlight here is Phra Mahathat Chedi, 95 meters high, which is the highest in the southern region. This temple is a meticulously beautiful piece of architecture with a perfect blend of art. And here there is also a large statue of Luang Pu Thuat standing prominently for people passing by to pay homage and ask for blessings for good fortune for themselves and their families. At this temple, there are many beautiful corners for tourists to take photos and keep as souvenirs. After we had gone inside to pay homage to the Buddha image inside the chapel, we then went out to tour the outside area of the temple. After we had toured the entire temple area, it was time to return to the hotel to rest and get some energy for the evening to go out to eat seafood.
