비슬산 대건사(Daegeonsa Temple in Biseulsan Mountain)
Biseulsan Mountain is a mountain in Daegu city that is third largest in Korea, and the highest peak is Cheonwangbong Peak (1,084m), and it was named Biseul because the shape of the rock at the top of the mountain resembles a Taoist hermit riding a geomungo.
Daegyeonsa Temple, located 1,000m above sea level, is a historic Silla temple that is interpreted as a great view, great feeling, and great enlightenment, and it is known that Buddhist monk Ilyeon (1206-1289), who wrote Samguk Yusa, stayed as the first chief monk at the age of 22.
