Lingkok Kuwieng is one of the favorite natural attractions in Pidie Regency, Aceh which offers unique natural phenomena, this place has natural beauty which is located in a valley that has a charming small waterfall.
Lingkong Kuwieng was only known by tourists in 2014 and above, previously this place was only known by students of nature lovers, Jabal Everest, Jabal Ghafur Sigli University.
I, as a student member of Jabal Everest nature lovers, came to Lingkong Kuwieng in 2011, at that time with several other members looking for this place. At that time we spent two days looking for Lingkok Kuwieng, the first day we didn't find this place, on the second day around 10 we found it.
It was only in 2018 on the anniversary of the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Indonesia that I invited the youth of the village where I live to visit Lingkong Kuwieng. At that time they brought one goat for a meal at Lingkok Kuwieng
To go to Lingkong Kuwieng from downtown Padang Tiji we have to pass through the last village, namely Tanjong Hagu, from Tanjong Haju through rice fields and plantations of the local community. The road there is still a dirt road, it's best if you go to Lingkong Kuwieng don't use automatic vehicles.
On the way we can also enjoy the natural beauty of the expanse of the Seulawah Inoeng forest.
