Tal es el caso de la Casa Comunal "Los Chaimas", allí el equipo de trabajadores y promotores sociales de la comunidad organizaron una serie de actividades formativas, recreativas y culturales para motivar a los niños del sector a disfrutar de dos semanas de "Aventuras en Vacaciones"

Les comento que entre las actividades que se desarrollaron destacan la elaboración de manualidades con material reciclado, sesiones de cuenta cuentos, pinta caritas, juegos de fútbol, paseo hacia el monumento de la ciudad, visita al Mc Donald's, actividad teatral, bailes tradicionales y un paseo a la Playa San Luis.
Among the activities that took place were the making of handicrafts with recycled material, storytelling sessions, face painting, soccer games, a walk to the city monument, a visit to McDonald's, a theatrical activity, traditional dances and a trip to San Luis Beach.
Debo confesarles que me siento bastante contenta por el dinamismo y compromiso de todas las personas que hacen vida en la Casa Comunal Los Chaimas, el deseo de ofrecer un espacio para el sano esparcimiento de los niños, niñas y adolescentes merece reconocimiento, es gratificante ver como padres y representantes se suman para estimular la integración y participación de sus hijos en cada propuesta.
I must confess that I am very happy for the dynamism and commitment of all the people who make life in the Casa Comunal Los Chaimas, the desire to offer a space for the healthy recreation of children and adolescents deserves recognition, it is gratifying to see how parents and representatives join to encourage the integration and participation of their children in each proposal.
Pude asistir a un par de actividades en donde un grupo de estudiantes de la Universidad de Oriente brindaron su apoyo como parte de su servicio comunitario, siempre es bueno poder participar en acciones de esta naturaleza.

De verdad que estoy disfrutando mucho las actividades en la Casa Comunal Los Chaimas, si bien la programación correspondiente al plan vacacional culminó, en adelante, a fin de contribuir con la formación integral de los niños, niñas y adolescentes, tienen previsto conformar un club recreativo de la mano con la ejecución del servicio comunitario de los estudiantes de la UDO.
I am really enjoying the activities at the Casa Comunal Los Chaimas, although the programming for the vacation plan has ended, in order to contribute to the integral formation of children and adolescents, they plan to form a recreational club together with the execution of the community service of the students of the UDO.
