Well, here is one, you read her post. And this is the proof.
It is just a joke that I am a delinquent, but yes, I found this ticket attached to the windshield wiper of my car the other day. It is a police report...
I gave a lesson at my student's house; I have always parked in front of her house, already for years. There are no parking lots in that area, and it is quite normal for everyone to park on the streets. Even the parents of that student told me the first time I came to their home to park there, in front of the house. There is no sign that parking is prohibited, but since the street isn't too wide, cars usually move up a bit onto the pavement to leave more space on the street. (note - nobody ever walks there.) Anyway, I do it that way too. I had two wheels on the pavement, and surprise: after I finished the lesson, I faced this little surprise that I got a police report! The reported incident is: Parking on pavements, walkways, and other areas designated for pedestrians.
That same evening, we paid the fine, so I was joking with my husband that I would not go to jail now. My delinquent career didn't last for long haha, and for sure next time I will not even go close to that street of my student. I will park further and walk to their home because, at this rate, it is just losing money and not earning it. 😂
This little joke about the prison happened on Thursday evening, and just a day later, on Friday evening, we watched a very interesting Spanish movie, El patio de mi cárcel. The story of women living their sentence in a women's prison. As with every movie that we watch on the TV program Historia de nuestro cine, this one also made an impact on us.

Di una clase en casa de mi alumna; siempre he aparcado delante de su casa, desde hace años. No hay aparcamientos por esa zona, y es bastante normal que todo el mundo aparque en la calle. Incluso los padres de la alumna me dijeron la primera vez que fui a su casa que aparcara allí, delante de la casa. No hay ninguna señal de que esté prohibido aparcar, pero como la calle no es muy ancha, los coches suelen subirse un poco a la acera para dejar más espacio. (Nota: nadie camina por allí). En fin, yo también lo hago así. Tenía dos ruedas en la acera, y ¡qué sorpresa!: después de terminar la clase, ¡me encontré con una denuncia policial! El hecho denunciado es: Estacionar sobre las aceras, paseos y demás zonas destinadas al paso de peatones.
Esa misma noche pagamos la multa, así que bromeaba con mi marido diciéndole que no iría a la cárcel. Mi carrera delictiva no duró mucho, jaja, y seguro que la próxima vez ni me acercaré a la calle de mi estudiante. Estacionaré más lejos y caminaré hasta su casa porque, a este paso, solo estoy perdiendo dinero y no ganando. 😂
Esta pequeña broma sobre la cárcel ocurrió el jueves por la noche, y justo un día después, el viernes por la noche, vimos una película española muy interesante, El patio de mi cárcel. La historia de mujeres que cumplen su condena en una cárcel de mujeres. Como todas las películas que vemos en el programa de televisión Historia de nuestro cine, esta también nos impactó.

The girls who happened to be imprisoned here have different stories and reasons for being in prison, but one thing connects all of them - the feeling of being lost or not having freedom even outside of prison. They all messed up in one or another way outside in their real lives, not as they wanted to do bad things... they were prisoners of circumstances that made them act in the way that granted them the entrance ticket to this place.
Las chicas que están encarceladas aquí tienen diferentes historias y razones para estar en prisión, pero hay algo que las conecta a todas: la sensación de estar perdidas o de no tener libertad, incluso fuera de la cárcel. Todas cometieron errores de una u otra manera en su vida real, no porque quisieran hacer cosas malas... eran prisioneras de las circunstancias que las llevaron a actuar de la manera que les permitió entrar en este lugar.
And the life there, behind the bars is like life itself. They had friendships, strong connections, passions, loves, jealousy, but also rules to follow, fears, hopelessness, fights and bad habits...
Y la vida allí, tras las rejas, es como la vida misma. Tenían amistades, fuertes vínculos, pasiones, amores, celos, pero también reglas que seguir, miedos, desesperanza, peleas y malos hábitos...
One of the officials was a theatre teacher; a theatre workshop was created, and then the lives of these women got more light and hope through improvisation, learning, acting, imagination and creativity.
Una de las funcionarias era profesora de teatro; se creó un taller de teatro y entonces la vida de estas mujeres obtuvo más luz y esperanza a través de la improvisación, el aprendizaje, la actuación, la imaginación y la creatividad.
Having an inspiration and a goal in every circumstance, getting your own freedom wherever you are, even in prison, could be the message of this movie, but I already said too much then. 😅 There are dramatic and sad moments that I will leave for you to find out if you want to watch this film.
Tener una inspiración y un objetivo en cada circunstancia, conseguir tu propia libertad donde quiera que estés, incluso en prisión, podría ser el mensaje de esta película, pero ya dije demasiado entonces. 😅 Hay momentos dramáticos y tristes que dejaré para que los descubras si quieres ver esta película.

Si no fui a la cárcel por aquello del aparcamiento, al menos me enteré de cómo podía ser la vida de las mujeres en los centros penitenciarios españoles en los años 80.
