It's time for the elephant in the room post about...ListNerds!
We wanted to go over a few concerns that we have seen pop up over the past few weeks and explain to the community, exactly what ListNerds's mission is...
"I have doubts..."
This seems to be the common response when anyone makes a post about ListNerds. And it's usually about the tokenomics of the program. When we first started ListNerds, the idea was always to develop a content discovery platform that would help do 2 things:
Drive traffic to people's websites / blog posts
Increase engagement on said blog posts
Some of the bonus benefits have been....
The development of the ListNerds community which is the reason this platform exists and continues to grow
Extra upvotes and curation rewards from layer 1 and layer 2 on Hive
And the rewards...For staking and actually using the system
This last point is what seems to be where the most 'doubt' comes in...
I'll be brutally honest, when I hear that people 'doubt' the CTP tribe, community and management team behind this platform, it stings at first. Just a few notes to remind those with doubts, that we have been building on Hive for the past 4 (almost 5) years now.
We show up, every day and will always be here for the community. Just a quick look and you will find us, daily, engaging with people on the blockchain, on social media, inside our Telegram and Discord groups...We are in front of people, all day every day!
But this is crypto, and we get it...Rug pulls happen, people use anonymous usernames and just disappear. We aren't 'those' kind of crypto people.
Regardless, talk is cheap..Where's the proof?
Our team consists of...
3 people, with long term plans to develop an entire new industry which we call...Content discovery engines.
ListNerds is the FIRST of many projects we have in this new niche. And we're building it all on Hive!
That being said...We're 3 people. And while we might not be able to move at the speed of some other projects on chain, we show up! And DO put in the work, and have plans to grow ListNerds and all our projects to insane heights. However this will take time!
Which sadly, in crypto, isn't respected. People want things now. And if it's not done now, they start having 'doubts'.
So this post is a call to calm the doubts. We have our buy wall set up, to purchase ListNerds tokens but this was never meant to be the end all solution. We want and will work towards making the ListNerds token attractive. Adding new use cases and getting feedback from the community on how to improve.
The side benefit is the rewards, the big reward is the engagement and traffic you should be generating! But no matter what...Brining value and use case to the token is our #1 priority!!
