At this point, I believe there is a handful of folks on this amazing blockchain that know I love where I workout, that I'm all in on HIVE and that I am a LISTNERDS faithful.
But, before I continue with this post, I received this badge today an it totally made my day:
It was an honor to sit in with The Cryptomaniacs, which is a podcast I've never missed. I've listened/watched all 101 episodes before 102 with me actually being on it: The CryptoManiacs Podcast - Episode 102 w/ Jimmy Adames
Of course, it made perfect sense; that my appearance on the show was going to include a lot of Nerdy talk.
May I interject a bit and show that I'm still hanging by that proverbial thread at number one on the Listnerds Richlist:
with the Queen of ListNerds hot on my trail and I want to shout out !KUDOS! to for crossing the 3000 staked mark as well.
There is a plethora of reasons to love the ListNerds platform, but I want to emphasize how important it has been in terms of the HIVE community and what it has done for my personal growth in this wonderful community.
As everyone knows the HIVE community is the driving force of this blockchain and just growing in it and with it; it is beyond gratifying and that is short selling it.
As I trudged along with consistent activity on HIVE, there were some things that were more difficult than others and it wasn't that I was discouraged or put off by it; but this blockchain has too many interesting people not to get to learn about.
We throw the word around a lot, but how many folks do we know? The best part of an online community is that there can be camaraderie without actually speaking to someone on the phone or actually being in their presence:
Although, I would probably make it one of my missions in life to meet up at a neutral place for a HIVE meet up or a CTP/ListNerds meet up 😎
Getting upvotes is gratifying and you feel good knowing that folks like you and/or your content. It's nice to see those extra rewards stacking up and your reputation growth, etc.
But what is SO COOL is when folks take time to leave you a comment, to interact with you and just show appreciation or value your interaction with them.
Nothing like it.
At the end of the day, those interactions will become the core of your long-term stability on this blockchain.
Since the relaunch of ListNerds and my extensive use of the platform my reputation has gone up from 63 to 65. To me, that is very satisfying and I know, I have a long way to go; but I'm putting in the effort EACH and EVERY DAY.
Needless to say, my rewards have gone up as well.
What is important to note, I'm just a regular guy. I didn't come in with any type of game changing skills that many have on HIVE that keep this blockchain moving forward. All the technical stuff. The following. The investment. The early entries. The folks who were on Steem before the fork.
I was just an affiliate marketer who was looking to get to the next level open my journey and was lucky enough to be a CLICK.TRACK.PROFIT member and was introduced to this wonderful world.
So, I'm still earning my stripes daily and continue to put in as much effort to do it step by step and not ever believe that anything is a given and never take anything for granted.
It's important to note, that your post may have already have had a ton of activity; but you can share it as well to get folks who missed it the first time to see it again.
It's another way to extend the life of a great post.
The point of this post is not to say, "hey use ListNerds to improve your post"; which there are actual ways to do that, if you are looking for more traction to your content; but that the platform can be another tool to provide more than an extra set of eyes and potential followers - using it.
Here are a handful of posts where I credit the increase in comments and interaction to ListNerds:
So those were very active posts for me and being Nerdy helped with generating that activity.
Using most front ends has been challenging, so that is why using has been a blessing.
is one of those platforms - as cool as it is, but at least I can throw up a DBUZZ post and with some Nerdy magic get it some extra love as you can see from the two posts above.
Upvotes are usually not a problem for me when it comes to my posts, but when I go Nerdy; shit happens 😁
Dawg! Comments on a post? To be fair, I don't post enough in that community, to have any real expectations, because of my time contraints; but I shared this recent post above on ListNerds and happy to say that it got me some activity 🤓
Getting comments on my posts using both ListNerds and was mind blowing, because it's not easy for me to do videos. I know I show the opposite, but it's going way out of my comfort zone.
It's not a brag post by any means, it's showing the possibilities and based on the posts that I read on HIVE that deserve extra attention, I'm glad there is a tool that I can use to do just that and not just to share mine 🤓
