I went for a walk down a quiet country lane today. I've never walked down here before.
The sides of the road were full of cow parsley, with small white flowers stretching almost the whole way along. It looked really nice and made the lane feel very peaceful.
It was supposed to be sunny, but the weather stayed overcast all day. Even without the sunshine, it was still enjoyable to be outside.
The lane was quiet apart from a big van trying to navigate its way around the narrow lane. I passed fields, hedges, and a few trees before reaching the lake.
My walk finished at the old boathouse. There was a baby coot on the water. The lake was calm and still beneath the cloudy sky. It was nice to explore somewhere new and enjoy a peaceful walk.
