In search of snow-covered villages, I tried to explore the Vologda region, where there is a chance to find something authentic, that is, similar to an ancient village. Abakshino is located very close to the Molochnoye, which is very close to Vologda.
The village stands on a high hill with views of the Semenkovo Museum and other places.
Abakshino can be divided into two parts: old and Soviet.
The facades of the houses of the old part of the village look just into the distance from the hill.
In general, this part is the only one of interest.
I was there before Cyclone Valli passed.
There's even more snow there now.
It was not the village itself that I liked more, but the fact that it is on a hill and it is very pleasant to go to it.
From the reporting wave of capturing snow-covered scenes, I switched to the wave where I want to capture different villages.
I had this last spring and fall.
I also wanted to capture something rustic in Dudinskoye.
But in the end, I came to the bridge as usual.
Dudinskoye is even closer to the city, which means that the spirit of a real village there has already been destroyed by metal fences and plastic.
That's all I could find.
And I didn't really look for it - when you see the big picture, you don't want to force the "village" out of urbanization.
You just need to fill up more fuel in the tank and drive a hundred kilometers away, then there will be a completely different picture and atmosphere.
But it was worth a try.
