The perception of colors in the environment is interesting: after winter and snow, everything around seems to be colored...but until the appearance of bright and juicy greenery. As soon as everything turns green around, the pictures with the first barely noticeable leaves already seem kind of gray.
But at that time they were very vivid pictures!
In general, it's just not physically possible to do it in May...
If everything was still gray yesterday, then today there is a different set of colors and they are brighter.
Everything will calm down more or less in June and July: the foliage will gain density and will remain so until autumn.
And May...this is some kind of incredible super-speed mode.
This is reflected in the work of the reportage photographer.
There is no such month in the year when everything is changing so actively.
If the photos are not published immediately and remain for more than a couple of days, then they become irrelevant.
Sometimes you have to reshoot the same places to get closer to the current state of nature.
There may be a similar story in the fall, but it doesn't compare to May.
– When did you take it off? – In May! – At the beginning or at the end?...
At the beginning of May, there may still be snow (sometimes) and definitely no leaves, but the end of May looks like a full-fledged summer with waist-high grass!
That's why May is my favorite month!
And at the same time, it is the most difficult.
