In May, the moon will give us two full moons – a Floral and a Blue one. The second moon in a row rises at approximately the same points as the previous one, so the frames are similar. But we were lucky with the sky - it was somehow fabulously cartoon-like.
In fact, such a sky is a salvation on a full moon, when the moon has already gone high from the horizon.
Clouds or haze dims the brightness of the moon's disk.
And then almost endless camera angles immediately open up!
Cloud cover only prevents the moon from rising, and then it only makes it better.
This is another rule, an item in the tutorial on photographing the moon.
The sun also obeys the same rule (there was a recent post on this topic).
The next full moon will be on the last day of May.
And I'm going to photograph it again.
Although the moon can be filmed in all its phases, a full moon is not a panacea.
