This is the sort of thing that postcards are made of, if that postcard is of a tropical island in the south Pacific. If that postcard is from New Caledonia, and of the town, and surronds of Hienghene on the east coast, about as far north as most people (ourselves included) go. and yeah the water is that blue the island is that lush, the palms are that perfectly places.
