Even in ruins or subjected to the insensitive attacks of architectural styles, which, following the new tastes and trends, crushed them mercilessly, there are still places that preserve, even incomplete and mistreated, part of that subterranean knowledge that characterized sacred architecture during some medieval centuries, which, by no means, were as dark as we have been led to believe.
Places strategically located in those wonderful circuits that make up the various paths, which, following the Route of the Stars, lead even beyond Compostela: in that metaphorical and sacred Finisterre, considered as the end of the world, at least the known one, since time immemorial.
Special sites, which, despite the losses, still contain a good part of that symbolic testimony that accompanied and at the same time, illustrated the pilgrim in his transcendental adventure.
Incluso en ruinas o sometidos a los insensibles ataques de estilos arquitectónicos, que, siguiendo los nuevos gustos y tendencias los machacaron sin piedad, quedan todavía lugares que conservan, aun incompleto y maltratado, parte de ese subterráneo saber que caracterizó a la arquitectura sagrada durante unos siglos medievales, que, en absoluto, fueron tan oscuros como nos han hecho pensar.
Lugares estratégicamente situados en esos maravillosos circuitos que conforman los diversos caminos, que, siguiendo la Ruta de las Estrellas, desembocan más allá incluso de Compostela: en ese metafórico y sagrado Finisterre, considerado como el fin del mundo, al menos del conocido, desde tiempos inmemoriales.
Sitios especiales, que, a pesar de las pérdidas, todavía contienen buena parte de ese simbólico testimonio que acompañaba y a la vez, ilustraba al peregrino en su aventura trascendental.
