El Gran Estanque del Parque del Retiro, de Madrid y la gran fascinación que todavía, al cabo de los años continúan ejerciendo los paseos en barca, constituyen, también, una admirable metáfora de la vida, que aunque en este caso se desarrolle en aguas mansas y poco profundas, no impide, en absoluto, que su recuerdo perdure en el tiempo.
