It's Wednesday June 19th, it's 8:30am and went out for a 4km walk to the heart of the city.
Leaving home, just outside on my block. It's a hot June morning humidity it's over 95% since it rained lots yesterday.
Full sun, blue skies. Just passing by a primary school, kids inside their classroom I can easily hear the teacher giving instructions to her class.
This street leads to the heart of the city, it's named San Luis, the city buzz it's just starting.
Four streets down, I'm getting close to the spot I want to show you all.
Going up the bridge, its name Silverio Sanchez but commonly caĺled by locals as Puente de la Plaza(Square Bridge)
I'm about to walk over its structure, he should be feeling my steps on his back. This brigde, as many others in my city, it's considered the symbol of the city, it's also one of the first made all of solid concrete.

Took this picture of the west side of the bridge, small humble boats on the shore, normally there are many more, but they should be out at sea. It's fishing season.
This sign says no jumping or fishing from the bridge, kids dont care and they usually overlook the danger, it's hot and they want to have fun.
I'm close to the heart of the city, I keep walking nonstop.
