The Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, known for its distinctive low-hanging belly and friendly temperament, is a small breed native to Vietnam and is currently classified as an endangered species. This one was at the Calgary Zoo a few years ago; they are known for being quite docile and friendly, which also makes them popular pets. Intelligent and social, they will often require companionship from other pigs or pets. This one seemed to be enjoying digging and rooting in the ground.
