Round two, with another beautiful box turtle!
We actually found both this turtle and the one featured last time at the same time, as they were crossing the road right down the street from our homestead. Although they are both the same species, they are very different looking, and each impressive representatives of their kind. I think that the blue sky contrasts their coloration well, so this one is also shown off in hand, lifted high, for this photo shoot. Enjoy!
