This one was goofy, but it turned out really well!

I was working on a project when a friend of mine "Squatchy Herper" sent a photo of some Ringneck Snakes he had just caught. It just so happened that I was about to drive past the best place I know to find Ringnecks, so I told him that he had inspired me and I was going to try to find my first Ringneck of the year. At 6:44 PM I told him to time me and then drove the short distance to the spot.

At 6:47 PM, I took that photo and sent it to him. Not only had I found my first Ringneck Snake of the year in less than three minutes, but I also located a Worm Snake under the same rock! Within a couple more minutes I also had a larger Ringneck Snake, which gave me the opportunity to take these photos. Obviously the Worm Snake was more difficult to work with. Enjoy the photos!
