About two years ago my niece was blessed with a new baby they named Victoria. The only problem was that she was born at 25 weeks and weighed only 1 pound 10 ounces!
She was so tiny she could fit on my hand:
But she was a beautiful little thing! She was on oxygen for the first year, but suffered no other significant problems. She has been growing like a weed!
Now she looks like this:
They live in the country, so she think chickens are pets, LOL. She is an energetic, bubbly child; with a ready smile, and keeps up well with her siblings. She has gained enough weight to be in the normal weight range now, and you'd never know that she had such a rough beginning!
They call her Tory, and she has 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. My niece has her own 'gang' (not quite enough kids for a baseball team), and they are safe living in the country!
To those that have been following her recovery, and asking how she's doing, you would never know she was born so tiny.
