Andrea was there, on the cliff, at 15 o'clock, exactly as he and Aurora had said to each other two years earlier. Two years, an eternity. Yet he had kept his promise, remembered their date, and was there waiting for her. During that time he had had some minor affairs, he hadn't shunned women in her memory, but simply none had given him the same magic. He felt stupid about his presence and tried to justify her absence, but he couldn't find enough reasons.
