Thomas was there, in front of me, offering me some yellow flowers just picked from the lawn and asking me to spend the rest of my life with him, so that it could become our life together. To say it he had used beautiful words, he had spoken of infinite horizons, of surfing together on the waves of storms, of sailing intrepid with the sails of love open to the wind. How could I have given up on this wonderful journey?

Thomas era li, davanti a me, offrendomi dei fiori gialli appena raccolti dal prato e chiedendomi di passare il resto della mia vita con lui, affinchè diventasse la nostra vita insieme. Per dirlo aveva usato delle parole bellissime, aveva parlato di infiniti orizzonti, di surfare insieme sulle onde delle tempeste, di navigare intrepidi con le vele dell'amore aperte al vento. Come avrei potuto rinunciare a questo meraviglioso viaggio?
