Hello sea friends, here I am again with my new entry for SEAPHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST – SEA and BOATS, week 175, enjoy it :-)))

In the old trunk of the house in Scotland I found some photos of grandfather Jacob. He lived in a small seaside village and was a fisherman. A simple life, often tiring, but you could see in his eyes something that I hardly see in the people of the big cities: peace. That feeling of being in the right place and being at peace with yourself and your life. I wanted to meet him, talk to him and discover the secret of his serenity.

Nel vecchio baule della casa in Scozia trovai alcune foto di nonno Jacob. Viveva in un piccolo villaggio sul mare e faceva il pescatore. Una vita semplice, spesso faticosa, ma si vedeva nei suoi occhi qualcosa che difficilmente vedo nelle persone delle grandi città: la pace. Quella sensazione di trovarsi nel posto giusto e di essere in pace con se stesso e con la propria vita. Avrei voluto conoscerlo, parlare con lui e scoprire il segreto della sua serenità.
