Warm greetings all. š š
I decided to walk to Kehena (a locally beloved black-sand beach that has been clothing-optional since 1955) this morning, to think, write, and take photos of the breathtaking beauty around me. As I was walking there it began to rain (luckily I brought an umbrella). When I arrived it was raining pretty notably. This was the first time in the almost four years I've been coming to Kehena that it was raining when I arrived. Thankfully there are overhanging cliffs at the back of the beach that offered cover, and it didn't end up raining for very long, and soon the sun was out shining bright. I was there for a few good hours, and while it alternated between sun and clouds, it only sprinkled for the rest of my time there.
I took quite a lot of photos from different vantage points, spread out over the time I was there. I have to admit that with so much beauty, I tend to take a few too many photos. For that I ask for understanding, and perhaps forgiveness. š
This is my first entry in the Sea Photography Contest: Round 179
