and this is my entry for Hive music Festival week 168 Round 3. I will be sharing a cover of a song medley of some songs of gratitude to God Almighty who has brought us to a new year. I hope that you will not just enjoy the song but that you will be really blessed by it and enjoy every bit of the song!!!
Today being the 1st of January in the year 2026, all we can say is thank you to God, thank you to Jesus, be magnified and be thou exalted, for his endless mercies and his love on us. I want to specially say that my being alive is the Grace of God.
In the songs I just sang, the first is actually acknowledging that it is because if Jesus that my enemies did not prevail over me, it is because he held us on his wings of mercy that we are not consumed. He preserved us and kept us alive from the snare of the evil one, the plans and traps of the evil one did not come near us, it didn't work against us, we are not consumed and so we say thank you.
New year is a time of reflection, it's a time of flashbacks, so that our gratitude can be done in accordance to his love. So that we will not be ingrates. Look back and see that it is he Lord that has done it. Yesu nagode, Allah nagode, Yesu sarki.
