Hola a todos, ahora vamos a tocar Wave. Para mí es como una canción curiosa porque no es de esas que te impresionan de una, más bien se te va quedando poco a poco. La melodía es simple pero tiene algo que uno termina recordando sin darse cuenta.
Es de Antônio Carlos Jobim, y tiene ese aire de bossa nova que no va apurado. Los acordes cambian bastante pero todo cae suave, nada suena forzado. Si la tocas muy marcada pierde la gracia, así que hay que dejarla correr.
En esta versión la vamos a hacer a flauta y guitarra. La flauta lleva la melodía, bien ligera, y la guitarra acompaña tratando de no estorbar, solo marcando el color de la armonía. La idea es que suene natural, como una conversación más que como algo armado.
No es una pieza para tocar fuerte ni para llenarla de cosas, funciona mejor cuando queda espacio entre las notas. Ahí es donde realmente aparece el carácter de la canción. Aqui abajo les estaré dejando el enlace de la versión original para que nos digan si les gustó la de nosotros

In this version, we're going to play it with flute and guitar. The flute carries the melody, very lightly, and the guitar accompanies, trying not to get in the way, just highlighting the harmony's color. The idea is for it to sound natural, like a conversation rather than something contrived.
It's not a piece to play loudly or to fill with extra elements; it works best when there's space between the notes. That's where the song's true character emerges.
