“Musiczone Songchallenge - Fase 2". by @raymondelaparra

Un gran saludo a toda la comunidad de músicos, y creativos musicales que hacen vida virtual "complementaria" en nuestra red hive.blog. Y un gran saludo lleno de entusiasmo y gratitud a la comunidad Hive account@musiczone que ha tenido esta bella iniciativa del Songchallenge para valorar y estimular el trabajo de compositores y autores comunmente relegados a un segundo, a un tercero o a un "al infinito y más allá" lugar cuando al hablar de músicos se trata.

Con relación al tema que traigo en esta fase para su consideración, es
una canción cuya letra y melodía son originalmente mías, de mi creación.

Esa canción surge a principio de los años 90. Como buen es de vuestro conocimiento - ya que lo he mencionado en otras oportunidades - yo para esa época oía mucha música romántica, inclusive escuchaba mucho a los cubanos Pablo Milanés y Silvio Rodríguez pero también con esa base poética apoyé mucho al venezolano Edgar Alexander con sus temas "El cisne", "Hoy", "Una guitarra". Quizá ese contacto, esa amalgama de cantantes, de autores, hizo que esta canción se concibiera.

Es una canción que no va dedicada especificamente a una persona determinada sino una canción hecha como se dice al voleo, pero, sin embargo, nos muestra la mujer idealizada, como podrán notar en las imágenes propuestas.

Su título: "Una canción".

En la fase 1 invité a participar a Hive account@sayury - lo cual hizo -. En esta segunda fase sigue la propuesta en las bases de la misma de invitar a otro compositor y quisiera invitar al apreciado Hiver Hive account@italozapata quien tiene un amplio repertorio de canciones de su inspiración con letras y melodías muy buenas.

And a heartfelt and grateful hello to the Hive account@musivzone community for this wonderful Songchallenge initiative, which aims to value and encourage the work of composers and songwriters often relegated to a secondary, tertiary, or even "infinity and beyond" place when discussing musicians.

Regarding the song I'm bringing up for your consideration, it's a song whose lyrics and melody are entirely my own creation.

This song emerged in the early 1990s. As you know—since I've mentioned it before—I listened to a lot of romantic music during that time, including the Cuban artists Pablo Milanés and Silvio Rodríguez. I also drew inspiration from the Venezuelan artist Edgar Alexander and his songs "El cisne," "Hoy," and "Una guitarra." Perhaps that connection, that amalgamation of singers and songwriters, led to the creation of this song.

It's not a song specifically dedicated to any particular person; rather, it's a song written, as they say, spontaneously. Nevertheless, it presents an idealized image of womanhood, as you can see in the accompanying images.

Its title: "A Song."
