Well, here I bring you this cover on the Venezuelan cuatro, to which I added a vinyl effect to give it that retro vibe, and I think it turned out with a lot of personality. XD
I know it might sound a bit peculiar or out of the ordinary, but I did it with a lot of love and dedication, looking for a different result. Plus, I'm completely sure that SUNO couldn't generate something like this, with this warmth and this particular human touch. LOL!
Just while I was working on it, I remembered a producer friend who's going through a tough time with all this stuff about artificial intelligence applied to music. He comments that he feels like he's running out of work because many people prefer to use tools like SUNO to generate automatic songs, instead of investing in real recording and production sessions. I totally understand his concern, because it's a radical change in the industry.
However, I believe the key is not to give up or see technology as a threat, but rather as a challenge. We have to push even harder, strive to offer something unique and authentic that no artificial intelligence can replicate. That human touch, the emotion, the little mistakes that give character... that's irreplaceable.
What do you all think? How do you see this type of fusion between traditional elements, like the cuatro, and modern digital effects? I'd love to read your comments and know if you like this musical direction.

Él comenta que siente que se está quedando sin trabajo porque muchos prefieren usar herramientas como SUNO para generar canciones automáticas, en lugar de invertir en sesiones de grabación y producción reales. Entiendo perfectamente su preocupación, porque es un cambio radical en la industria.
Sin embargo, yo creo que la clave no es rendirse ni ver la tecnología como una amenaza, sino más bien como un reto. Hay que meterle más duro todavía, esforzarse por ofrecer algo único y auténtico que ninguna inteligencia artificial pueda replicar. Ese toque humano, la emoción, los pequeños errores que dan carácter... eso es insustituible.
