Hello here. I started this community 3 years ago. It never got any special attention by the whales of the Hive. But it doesn't make it any less interesting and don't describe nothing about. The content is what is important - so the content of this community is the most wonderful (by my personal opinion) which i saw here if to talk about the %s and the proportions of the screaming art comparable to mediocre. And again - this opinion is my personal and describing only my taste. And even the community is never listed in the trending or HOT communities lists, i continue to maintain it and hope to get more subscribers and publishers posting here with the #filmphotography tag.
I just checked about this tag and found how not popular it here on HIVE. It's almost invisible with very rare posts tagged this way.
And i find it very strange that there are very few photographers here who are using this media (i don't use the word "still", just because many photographers returned back to use film or just like me started using it after a few years of firstly using digital).
For example on the new "FOTOAPP" (https://fotoapp.co/), which is now is running as a closed just to a few thousands photographers Private Beta, there is a huge amount of the photographers using film and some of them using exclusively film for their works.
So, if you use film and film cameras for your ART, if you don't would like to upload to this community at least put the #filmphotography tag for the better visibility, i'm checking this tag very often :-)
This Abstracture is photographed with Yashica T1 point and shoot compact camera and ilford FP4 24 exposures black and white film.
So when i loaded the roll i played a little bit with the accessories and the inverted 50mm lens of my DSLR camera allowing to shoot in some kind of macro mode.
Printable Art of many of my works is available in my Redbubble Store :
