The weekend is here again and I prepare my cameras to go with me on walks and short trips. A beautiful spring is here and even last week's days were extremely hot - somedays temperature riched more 37C, by the forecasts, the weekend's days promised to be very nice with only 21-23C in the center and the northern part, well, my favorite location Jerusalem is hot around 29-32C, but cloudy at least. I still have to decide the direction and the film format I will use these days.
Today my post is about the expired Fujichrome Provia 400 tested with Ricoh GR1s camera.
Some time ago i got a bunch of already expired various 35mm color film and all this time stocked all rolls in my fridge – I was very busy with self-developing of the black and white stuff but now decided to give a try to these Provia and Velvia rolls the dated the year 2005. I had no idea how properly these rolls stocked during the long period before I purchased them, so I tried one single roll of Fujichrome Provia 400 RHP iii.
I noticed two inconvenience – to be concentrated on the scenes with color and waiting for the developed result from the local lab. one very sad fact – it was the only one place in TelAviv where it is still possible to develop slides film. and – I do not know anything about the origin of the orange line on a few frames.
