In some ways, it has been a relief to not be packing up, setting up and then taking down every weekend from another Holiday Art Show.
On the other hand, I have been missing the interaction, not to mention the lost sales. Short version: Our finances are taking it in the shorts.
I call these "Sun Stones"
Painting on stones isn't exactly digital art, either. That said, I have even been contemplating the idea of digitally manipulating some of my photographs of my work and getting involved with MakersPlace and "tokenized" art in some fashion. But would anyone even care about a photo of an item that exists elsewhere? Is that even in the spirit of the concept? Maybe I'm missing something, but the whole NFT concept suggests starting with digital art.
Besides, it is healing and my meditation to paint in physical space, on something so very tangible as a rock!

In the meantime, I have been building my online stores while also trying to improve my photographic presentation.
So far, it hasn't really translated into sales, although there have been a lot of nice comments.
Meanwhile, I am getting ready to look at what happened in 2020, and then try to set some intentions for 2021. That's a harder process than ever before! What do you compare to? Will there be a complete economic meltdown, or some kind of recovery?
Yes, it's all free hand... no stencils, marks, graphics or plans
Even as a creative, I still like to set at least minimal goals.
Maybe I'll just start blogging, full time... at the moment, even a couple of dollars sounds good!
Thanks for stopping by and having a look!
Because I am trying to make some semblance of income — a living, even — I now add this footer to all my posts, in the hope that someone, somewhere, might decide to take a further look at my work, and perhaps consider supporting independent art.
Thank you, in advance, for your consideration and support!
