Desde que estudio la magia natural, las celebraciones de la rueda del año se han vuelto parte de mi día a día. Más que una conversión a una creencia distinta, lo veo como abrazar aquello que siempre sentí de forma casi instintiva y que ahora puedo ver de manifiesto como una sabiduría ancestral que ya está estudiada y documentada. Comenzar el año celebrando la vuelta al útero, el renacer, el reencontrarnos con nuestra verdadera esencia. Somos entonces conscientes, apreciamos nuestra oportunidad para hacer balance de nuestra vida, podemos soltar aquello que ya no resuena con nuestra realidad, nivel de consciencia y sabiduría? Esta fiesta se celebra al rededor del solsticio de invierno, relacionada con la mitología Nórdica, Germánica y Celta. Relacionada a los ciclos agrícolas también conocidas como "Paganos". Duraba 12 días, siendo asimilado en la edad media por el Catolicismo para adaptar a la población al dogma religioso que se impuso, cambiándole el nombre a "Navidad". MAGIA! así es como describo la forma en que llegó mi tronco de YULE. Por motivos de tiempo, llegada la celebración aún no tenía tronco, algo complejo de obtener en una ciudad como Caracas. Así que antes de salir a comprar los pendientes para la celebración, expresé mi intención y para no alargarles el cuento, camino a casa este hermoso tronco me esperaba a los pies de un árbol que había sido podado ese día en la mañana. Magia? Es manifestar a la Diosa tus intenciones, para que ella te abra los ojos y te guíe a la provisión perfecta. Simplemente, gracias Madre!

MAGIC! This is how I describe the way my YULE trunk arrived. For reasons of time, when the celebration arrived it still did not have a trunk, something complex to obtain in a city like Caracas. So before going out to buy the earrings for the celebration, I expressed my intention and in order not to lengthen the story, on my way home this beautiful trunk was waiting for me at the foot of a tree that had been pruned that day in the morning. Magic? It is to manifest to the Goddess your intentions, so she can open your eyes and guide you to the perfect provision. Simply, thank you Mother!

El ritual que hice el 21 de diciembre, al practicarlo en solitario, constó de la preparación del altar, teniendo como centro el tronco de Yule, la representación de los cuatro elementos, (aire, fuego, agua y tierra), el útero de la Diosa representado por el cuenco y el Dios recién nacido dentro del cuenco representado por una vela azul. Las ofrendas y mis herramientas mágicas que se cargaron con la energía del solsticio.

The ritual that I did on December 21, when I practiced it alone, consisted of the preparation of the altar, having as center the trunk of Yule, the representation of the four elements, (air, fire, water and earth), the Goddess' womb represented by the bowl and the newborn God inside the bowl represented by a blue candle. The offerings and my magic tools that were charged with the energy of the solstice.
