Choosing to Die?

i have been thinking (yeah i know, that stuff can be dangerous to health, but i am.being careful :-).

I think I am choosing to die, very slowly. i am choosing this with some of my thoughts (but .probably not many conscious ones) and actions.

i think that over the past 15 years or so i am.slowing down the up-comiing physical death, yet speeding up the "egoic" death.

i am.speaking in relative terms here, as in "i" being just a character in this dream of life. "He" is not the real me, which is unborn and undying.

it makes me wonder if Ramana Maharshi chose to die from cancer, or rather just let it happen (same thing?). i think so.
