Have you ever felt tired on a busy day? Or do you often feel tired because the results of your hard work are not commensurate with what you are trying to do? That's okay, sometimes things don't have to be as perfect as you planned. You can still do it another day by correcting the existing shortcomings. The more we get used to it, the easier it is to solve problems. Don't be so hard on yourself when what you want isn't what you expected. You can rest first. No need to rush, everything needs a process. Rain needs a process to wet the earth, flowers need a process to bloom beautifully, and you also need a process to be able to deal with all your problems.
A few days ago on Monday, my book order finally arrived after almost a week I ordered it using a shopping app. This book has been on my shopping list for a long time. It even became the bottom of the list because it had been on the list for too long. I bought this book with the money I saved from this hive community, and I am very happy about it. I think I need some motivation to pave the way forward. By giving this book as a token of appreciation for my achievements, I hope that I can be more productive in doing all kinds of useful activities.
The books called "If We Were Never Good" and "If We Were Never Anything" are books by the same author that I bought as a reward for my hard work over the years. A self-improvement-themed book that I hope will help me open my mind to keep writing. I haven't had the chance to read the entire book yet, but so far, it's worth reading as a friend when we need inspiration, As friends when we weren't okay.
Apart from giving gifts for myself, I also bought a book for my younger sister entitled “Eyes in the Land of Melus”. This book is a children's novel with the theme Adventure. By buying her a book, I think she can fill his spare time by reading.
Not only this time, but I also sometimes give myself a small reward when I have completed an achievement. One of them was when I first restarted building my Youtube channel. I always tell myself that when I finish creating content and get a hundred new subscribers on Youtube that I build, then I will give myself a little reward. I used to probably only buy the food I liked every time I got a hundred new subscribers on my Youtube channel. Till now I have got more than thirty-five thousand subscribers on my Youtube channel. Funny to remember the hard work back then. But by giving ourselves a little appreciation, we will feel more grateful for what we have achieved. A small gift for yourself will also increase the enthusiasm to continue to do new things.
It's that simple to be able to appreciate our hard work when no one else can see what we've done. Give yourself a little appreciation as a thank you for doing your best. Although not as perfect as we hoped, at least we have done the best we can. Don't be too hard on yourself, and don't pamper too much either. Oh yeah, don't give yourself gifts too often. It's okay to give gifts, but not too often so that what we strive for does not only depend on the gifts to be given.
