House of fire, house of light
____________________________
House of light — by rosy tendrils wreathed,
Of photon-vines so subtle, ruby-dreamed;
You sheltered me while roiling chaos seethed,
Embowered when existence feeble-seemed
My weak, stone-dense, decrepit mortal frame.
You know my name;
You call it with a tongue of cirrus flame
Enwrap with cyclone logic all my life;
You make the circular eternal wife
Of my long-waiting soul —
You make me whole.
House of fire — with topaz petals strewn,
of adamantine crystal ancient hewn.
