I went to get a haircut the other day and there was a new barber at Tops Off. His name was Carlos and he had just recently moved to WV from North Dakota. He did a great job as you can see from this photo:
The thing that stood out to me the most was the fact that he finished the job by pulling out his percussion massage gun and using it on my shoulders/neck. I think that is something only a seasoned barber would think of doing. It felt freaking amazing! This immediately reignited my desire to have a massage gun of my own.
The following day a college track and field athlete came into my work to ship a massage gun to his friend in Ireland. I asked him if he liked the massager and he highly recommended it. The one he purchased was called a Triggerpoint Impact and cost him $200. I didn’t rush to go get that one although it was available at a local store, instead I decided to weigh my options. I did however take the fact that he had positive things to say about a massage gun into consideration.
I had previously wanted a Theragun when I first discovered percussion massagers a few years back. That was the first massage gun that I had ever seen at the time. I never purchased one considering they were charging several hundred dollars.
Present day, I have since learned that Therabody is charging way to much for a product that isn’t worth the money. I’m glad I never bought a Theragun. There are so many other percussion massage guns on the market now. Many of which are better build and have more features at a significantly lower cost.
Today I watched a “Best Massage Guns of 2020” YouTube video from a former Ninja Warrior competitor. That video can be found below:
In that video over a dozen different types of massage guns are compared. The best bang for the buck turned out to be the Medcursor Mini.
The video breaks down all of the different options by several categories. I found stall force, power levels, noise levels, features, and price to be the most important. All of which the Medcursor Mini excels in.
If you’re curious about this type of wellness equipment, then I recommend you watch the full video. There are lots of charts and actual usage shown within.
I will also be posting a review of my Medcursor Mini after I have had time to familiarize myself with it. I’m supposed to receive it in the mail by Wednesday next week.
The Medcursor Mini is currently on sale on Amazon for only $65. Link to purchase.
I got super lucky to find it for this price. On top of that I had a $50 Amazon gift card that I’ve been saving and was surprised to find out that my old Amazon credit card that I no longer use also had $25 of rewards points left on it. This means I was able to order the Medcursor Mini for FREE!
Talk about being fortunate, I’m beyond blessed. Getting the Medcursor Mini for free is a great birthday gift, my birthday is tomorrow. I will be 28 on October 9th. I am so hyped to receive this bad boy in the mail so that I can start using it on myself. My back and legs both are often sore from working so much and being on my feet 8+ hrs a day. and I will be using it on each other too I’m sure.
Thanks for checking out my blog.
I hope that you learned something new today. Be sure to stay tuned and look out for my future in depth review of this Medcursor Mini. Should be dropping within the next few weeks.
