Yes, it is time to talk about this topic, one of my most intriguing interests are psychic abilities from a young age something which has fascinated me.
I am in no way religious per se, nor too much into stuff like that but I am interested and curious about how our world works, its mechanics and how to simplify everything into a basic concept which everyone can understand.
Throughout my Journey I have come to realize that if something like psychic abilities were to be a thing, there is a lot of potential to explore, especially psychokinesis. I usually approach the concept not from "is it real" perspective but rather... "how could it be possible?" and that was the only way that would lead me to relevant answers.
You see... psychokinesis for me means something beyond simply a human ability (if any), it means that if and however that would be possible... then the same logic could be transferred to other things and vice versa, actually this is how I figured it out so far.
Psychic abilities in my opinion are natural occurrences of more fundamental physical principles, obviously there are many opinions and theories regarding that but I stick to what I learned so far.
Whatever happens during that phenomenon must be something funamental to reality, mechanics at place which make it possible and in many cases undetectable by our modern tools, granted that if anyone would be able to do it... then the right tool swould be required to conduct the right experiments and under the right context, i.e. a Random Event Generator and a methodical approach, I am not here for this side of things though, I am here to talk from experience.
Psychokinesis and similar abilities seem to be the after effect, the side effect if you will from something that we already do in our daily lives, it is just that it has become so "norm" that we often forget about it and deem it as normal and expected, sure, it is of course normal.
When experimenters see a slight offset and call it random, that is obviously not really random, it is just that there are unknown variables in the experiment and are usually ignored, again, we are not talking about the details of that here, just something I learned and keep in mind for my rational mind.
(Our scientific method may be flawed but it is the best we have so we better use it right and to its fullest capacity available, it is to be respected for such since it is a tool that served us well so far and keeps serving).
Psychic coming from the word "psyche" therefore meaning soul and since many see soul as something fundamental, it does not sound too far fetched.
So how to be "Psychic"? Well from my experience it is about connection.
We may have seen something like that in my channeling post, there is a lot of room to see that phenomenon as "psychic", I see those things as normal, perhaps a bit unusual but normal nonetheless, this is no exception.
When we connect with something similar to what we do in channeling, we embody it in some sense we are that, our mind and the mind of the object are one (subject and object, seer and seen) become one.
Another perspective comes from a known fun physics phenomenon, if you search for "Metronomes Synchronization" you will see a lot of metronomes at first swinging out of sync but later those start to synchronize and follow the same pattern, that is one hint to keep in mind, what makes them synchronized? The answer is their basis, their base acts as a mediator, they both "share" the surface on which they sit on and that surface compensates all of them resulting in synchronization of all of the metronomes later on, it is of course an example but also a cool idea to explore.
That is usually when those things happen, and it is no surprise that the principle of resonance is at play, whether we see it from a spiritual or scientific perspective, the result is the same, it is not uncommon to see spiritual practices being examined by science and that is generally nice to see.
Similar to how Lucid Dreaming used to be just a Myth and later was proven (Not sure about the paper so a small disclaimer here, it is talked about a lot though).
Telepathy works the same way, if it works and however it works.
The question I posed in the start remains, the right mindset to approach such possibilities, "Okay, say it was real, how could it be?" not in the sense of how does it work in gears and bolts but rather how could we do it?
I am still practicing myself, I practice for mind health and everything.
Part of it is because it helped me and gave me clearer views about the world.
I always keep a small distance and not taking things too literary while at the same time seeing the potential in something and exploring it.
Key here, potential, that which brings curiosity and interest, then intention and later the motion towards something. Here is the hint, motion.
Belief or acceptance of a possible outcome is another part of the equation.
Therefore, My steps to being psychic are as follows:
-Connect to the thing which represents to you the totality of what exists (you are that, not just part of that, the same way perhaps that your living cells are also you, you are also that which is made out of everything, call it the divine or world soul, whatever it is... nameless and shapeless perhaps, it is you).
-Believe its possible, if you do not, then tip it off and see how it could be, belief is the crystallized information we hold onto.
-Want it, if you do not want it due to beliefs, then go back and see how those beliefs could be otherwise. In truth you want to explore it and if you want to explore it that is like the electricity in a cable which is belief.
