Hello everyone,
Today I'd like to share my experience with a herbal sauna and the benefits I gained from using it.
Winter is approaching in my homeland, and the weather is changing rapidly, causing us to feel uneasy and making it easy to become ill as the temperature drops. In order to cope with the problem, people in the countryside have long used medicinal plants to treat common diseases such as fever. For a day after a long day of trekking in heavy rain and cold weather (17 degrees Celsius), I felt sick and extremely uncomfortable. My wife suggested that I visit Chay Lap Farmstay and try the herbal sauna, where they provide excellent service. Yes, go ahead and do it. After 45 minutes of using this service, I am feeling much better.
Aromatic, Lemongrass, Grapefruit, Green Tea Leaves, and Gingers were used to make the natural flavour by boiling them with pure water. They then wrapped the blanket over their entire body with the heat from these herbs in order to make them sweat as much as possible. This was referred to as a traditional herbal sauna.
So what are the benefits of using the herbal sauna actually?
First and foremost, the herbal sauna assisted me in relieving stress after a long and stressful week at work. Saunas have traditionally been used to induce a state of relaxation. Blood flow to the skin increases as your heart rate rises and your blood vessels dilate. As a result, using herbal saunas absolutely will help us with blood circulation.
For skin
The herbal sauna for the skin is a therapy that uses plants and herbs to help expand the pores, thus also trying to remove dirt, residue, and toxins. This procedure also encourages new skin regeneration and improves skin relaxation.
Post-workout recovery additional help
For those who enjoy working out, such as myself, I frequently experience muscle pain while exercising. I discovered that using a sauna is one of the best ways to relieve pain from long hours of exercise at the gym club or even at home. The heat from the sauna has the ability to penetrate deep into muscle tissue, which may aid in the reduction of Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. I myself also found that using a sauna effectively provides immersive heat therapy. As such, it is an effective method for reducing muscle contraction and inflammation after exercise. Saunas increase blood flow, which increases the availability of fresh blood cells throughout the body, allowing oxygen to reach the muscles. The availability of oxygen is a critical component in muscle function and is especially important in aiding muscular recovery.
Last but not least, using the herbal sauna also help with treating common sickness like fever or headache or cold. A fever is our bodies' natural way of killing off the bad virus. When our bodies become too warm, bad germs will be killed. Our bodies benefit from the same effect in a sauna. To get rid of bad germs, our immune system produces antibodies and incubation heat. The health benefits of strengthening your immune system by using saunas are obvious.
Please remember to keep on drinking water, as the heat of the sauna can cause dehydration.
With the significant benefits that the herbal sauna provides, I believe that this method should be one of the best ways to treat colds/sickness during the winter or even the pandemic, as well as for other fantastic health benefits.
