Hace tres años compré dos plantitas de fresas. Más que nada por capricho ya que no creía yo que fueran tan productivas como han resultado ser. El año pasado las trasplanté a un recipiente mucho más grande y conseguí multiplicar el número de plantas y la producción, claro. Ahora, con la llegada del invierno, ha llegado el momento de cambiarles el sustrato y el recipiente que hace de macetero. En realidad es una caja de fruta que encontré abandonada en un mercadillo callejero. Lo curioso es que yo creía que por ser invierno las plantas descansarían, entrarían en fase de crecimiento más lento y no darían flor, pero no ha sido así. Aquí tenéis la prueba. Dieron fresas este verano y ahora parece que quieren empezar otra vez.

Three years ago I bought two strawberry plants. Mostly on a whim since I didn't think they were as productive as they turned out to be. Last year I transplanted them into a much larger container and managed to multiply the number of plants and production, of course. Now, with the arrival of winter, the time has come to change the substrate and the container that acts as a pot. It is actually a fruit box that I found abandoned in a street market. The curious thing is that I thought that because it was winter the plants would rest, they would enter a slower growth phase and would not give flower, but this has not been the case. Here is the proof. They gave strawberries this summer and now it seems that they want to start again. |
