Hola gente querida de hive. Es muy agradable volver a postear despues de un tiempo de ausencia que por diferentes motivos me llevaron a estar lejos de la plataforma por un tiempo.

Quiero contarles una situación médica que pase hace tan solo unos dias. Desde hace muchos años vivía con la aparición de un pequeño lipoma en mi cuerpo que con el paso del tiempo fue aumentando de tamaño hasta el punto de producirme molestias ya que se encontraba alojado en una parte de mi cuerpo donde era muy propenso a lastimarme y es que estaba en un glúteo. Su tamaño era muy considerable y las molestias cada vez eran mas frecuentes, admito que sucedio en parte por mi descuido y por el miedo que le tengo a los hospitales. Siendo esta mi primera y unica experiencia con un bisturí y sus respectivas suturas.
Tuve la suerte de contar con el apoyo de una amigo Médico quien me evaluó y aceptó remover el lipoma y digo suerte pues la situación médica en el país y los hospitales no son las mejores donde muchas veces es difícil que te atiendan a menos que sean casos de extricta emergencia. Por indicación del Doctor me realice una serie de examenes de rutina mas una ecografia de partes blandas para corroborar de que realmente se trataba de un lipoma y que este no tuviera otra complicación.
Y es que un lipoma es un tumor de grasa benigno y son muy comunes. La mayoría de los lipomas se extraen de manera quirúrgica mediante un corte pues normalmente se compone de tejido graso.
I want to tell you about a medical situation I went through just a few days ago. For many years I lived with the appearance of a small lipoma in my body that with the passage of time was increasing in size to the point of causing me discomfort as it was lodged in a part of my body where I was very prone to hurt me and it was in a buttock. Its size was very considerable and the discomfort became more and more frequent, I admit that it happened partly because of my carelessness and the fear I have of hospitals. This was my first and only experience with a scalpel and its respective sutures.
I was lucky to have the support of a doctor friend who evaluated me and agreed to remove the lipoma and I say lucky because the medical situation in the country and hospitals are not the best where it is often difficult to be attended unless they are strict emergency cases. On the Doctor's instructions I underwent a series of routine examinations plus a soft tissue ultrasound to corroborate that it really was a lipoma and that it did not have any other complication.
And the fact is that lipomas are more than anything else, fat bulge often located between the skin and the underlying muscle layer.
La operación fue muy sencilla y no tardo más de media hora, donde se extrajo en su totalidad el lipoma hasta la raíz para evitar que en un futuro se regenere, en el procedimiento me hicieron tres puntos de sutura y me indicaron antiflamatorio, antibióticos y para el dolor además de guardar reposo. Gracias a Dios y a mi amigo Médico que me deshice de ese lipoma tan molesto y pues me sirve de experiencia para no volver a dejar que algo como eso o parecido vuelva a repetirse pues lo ideal es acudir al médico y no dejar pasar tanto tiempo con eso.
The operation was very simple and did not take more than half an hour, where the lipoma was removed in its entirety to the root to prevent it from regenerating in the future, in the procedure I had three stitches and I was prescribed anti-inflammatory, antibiotics and painkillers in addition to rest. Thank God and my doctor friend that I got rid of that annoying lipoma and it serves me as an experience not to let something like that or similar happen again because the ideal is to go to the doctor and not let so much time go by with that.
