Natural cosmetics comes as an alternative to conventional cosmetics and the need to serve an audience with characteristics on the skin that were not conventional methods.
In addition to that, the boom in caring for the environment has made the formulations more friendly with nature, returning to ancient techniques, taking advantage of the benefits of infinite plants and flowers available in nature. As time goes by, natural cosmetics also allow us to see ourselves better, treats special skin conditions and displays a varied catalog.
But natural cosmetics is not a novelty, it dates back to the time of the Egyptians approximately 3500 years ago where we find a great legacy of bottles, use of aromatic herbs, vegetable or animal oils, minerals.
We can find both Nefertiti and Cleopatra as ambassadors for the use of cosmetics, also reported in the Ebers medical papyrus, different preparations for therapeutic, aesthetic and health purposes are found (Marti).
During the Greek era the word cosmetic is derived which is κόσμος, kosmos 'decoration, ornament'. The ancient Greeks admired beauty, looked for proportionate measures, slender bodies, smooth and soft skins and perfect hair. Likewise if we review the literature, the Romans used cosmetics for both their physical appearance and therapeutic purposes.
I came to natural cosmetics, due to repetitive stress dermatitis, no commercial treatment gave me long-term results, and I took a course of soaps and natural cosmetics and learned many properties of plants.
My first plant: Elder
Do a little more research and formulate an oily cream that helped my problem. From then on I have dedicated myself to this natural area, specifically natural products, which encompasses both cosmetic and therapeutic products. It is that plants and minerals offer benefits that have been forgotten in the time that we must rescue
