Greetings natural medicines enthusiasts,
Do you like to get drunk while enjoying its health benefits? Today I'm sharing with you our local drinks which we call TUBA or coconut wine. In this blog, I'll be showing how my neighbour extracted a TUBA juice from a coconut tree.
This is my neighbour Carlito every morning he climbs up the coconut tree to check on his sugong (bamboo container) with him going up is his sangot (sickle).
Above he cuts the flower so the tuba juice can flow (tuba flows very very slowly so you have to be patient).
This is what it looks like above and guess what I climb it myself to show you. Don't worry I'm all safe when I get down.
Here's my free and fresh TUBA
I just strain the huge particle of the flowers that goes with the juice and took a photo and am ready to drink.

So whenever you visit my beautiful country the Philippines don't forget to have a try TUBA you can have them with tungog a certain mangrove species that will make a tuba taste bitter, sour and stronger taste but I prefer drinking them naturally and if you like it very sweet choose tuba that is freshly harvested because the longer it will stay the fermentation occurs the tuba will taste very sour and that's when you can use them as vinegar but if you like to do some experiments you can use tuba for cocktail making or just have them plain like your drinking beer 🍻.
How about you does anyone of you have the same tuba drinks in your country. I'll be very happy to know about it 🤗.
