Hello!!! I continue the cycle of posts about medicinal plants - since I think that this is all in the subject of natural medicine.
The photo belongs to me. I sell photos on stock photos so I use them here with watermarks.
I live in Belarus and it is a green country. There is a wide variety of plants and I think that most of them were used by our ancestors in the form of infusions and decoctions for traditional medicine.
As a child, I found books on medicinal plants in the library, for some reason I really liked this topic.
Since then, a lot of time has passed and I still recognize some of the medicinal plants that grow wildly in the meadows when I pass by. We still pluck some plants with our daughter and use them as tea. This was my previous posts about linden and Hypericu:

Some plants would be worth a closer look and read about them again. The important thing I understood is that it’s always good to learn about the side effects of medicinal herbs, as this can really happen. Medicinal plants are not a joke, they contain many chemical components that can both help and do harm.
Not so long ago we walked in nature not far from home. Once upon a time there were thickets of bushes and among them 3 small ponds. Apparently because of the abundance of water there are always so many different plants. A little higher is a small pine forest.
With the onset of summer, my daughter and I love to stroll there to breathe fresh air and take new photos.
This yellow plant attracted my blame - I definitely remembered that I saw it among the medicinal products in the book, but I had to look for more information.
From this source https://good-tips.pro/flowers/lysimachia-loosestrife-planting-care I read the following information:
The plant contains tannins, saponins and ascorbic acid, which means it can be useful as a general strengthening, wound healing and hemostatic agent.
In alternative medicine in China and in Tibet, the loosestrife is used to treat festering wounds, skin diseases, stomatitis and thrush. For medicinal purposes, fresh foliage and flowers are used, which are applied to the wounds to accelerate healing. Dried roots are powdered and used to treat burns and cuts.
Thanks for your attention.
