I thought to try this home remedy because of my husband had a very bad cough and cold last two weeks.
I gave him this medicinal drink twice a day for three consecutive days.

Ginger

This is commonly use as spice. It’s rhizome ( under ground part of the stem) using as a ginger.

Mainly ginger has a very long history of use in various forms of traditional and alternative medicine.
Ginger used to aid digestion, reduce nausea and help fight the flu and common cold and cough.
Honey
Honey has been used for thousands of years to soothe cough and sore throats. Honey was found to be a superior and preferable treatment for the cough and sleep difficult associated with childhood appear respiratory tract infection.

Ingredients
1 – 2 inch knob fresh Ginger
2 Tbsp row honey
Steps
🍃Peel, then finely grate ginger into a small bowl.
🍃 Squeeze grated ginger through a fine mesh sieve (or just use your fingers) to release about 1 teaspoon of juice. Discard pulp.
🍃Mix the teaspoon of fresh ginger juice thoroughly into the tablespoon of honey.
🍃Take the syrup right away, swallowing slowly and deliberately.
🍃Take 2-3 times a day, as needed to soothe sore throat and dry coughing.
