Hello my lovely hivers! Welcome back to my blog. Today I want to share with you a very simple recipe for your hair’s health.
I cut my hair a little, on the 17th of May, with the crescent moon, in order to stimulate well the hair regrowth. To help the lunar calendar, I decided to prepare this recipe that stimulates hair growth thanks to the ingredients it contains.
The ingredients I used are:
- a pot of white yogurt
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 2 teaspoons ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon coconut powder
- 5 drops of rosemary essential oil
Make sure you also have:
- a bowl
- a teaspoon
- a shower cap or kitchen film
Thanks to the high content of lactic acid and a lower percentage of vitamins and microelements, yogurt is ideal for preparing hair masks. Used regularly, it moisturizes deeply, softens the hair and strengthens the hair. That’s why I often use it as a basis for my DIY hair mask. Honey, as you already know if you usually visit my blog, is great for giving brightness and body to the hair.
Ginger, on the other hand, is the most important ingredient, along with rosemary essential oil, for hair growth. Ginger, in fact, by stimulating blood circulation, helps to promote the growth of hair and to strengthen the hair in general. In addition, plays a sebum-regulating action that helps the action of hair follicles, freeing the sebaceous glands (it is therefore very suitable for those with dandruff problems!)
Finally, the essential oil of rosemary, is used to favor the microcirculation and therefore for its fortifying action, fall and also sebum-regulating, has in fact important purifying properties. Coconut flour, helps to make a sort of peeling to the scalp and then to better act ginger and rosemary essential oil.
Procedure:
First, in a bowl, put a teaspoon of coconut flour, two teaspoons of ginger powder and two of honey. Stir well and then add yogurt.
After mixing the yogurt well with all the other ingredients, add 5 drops of rosemary essential oil. Stir until you get a smooth cream.
Spread all over the scalp taking care to massage well on the skin, to make the mask act better. Wrap your hair in a plastic cap or alternatively in a kitchen film. Hold on for at least 30 minutes, or even longer, and then continue washing your hair normally. I recommend to take great care in rinsing the mask, using a brush, as coconut and ginger may get stuck in the hair!
If you don’t have rosemary essential oil at home, you can still prepare the same recipe without that!
I really hope you enjoyed this recipe and you’ll try it soon! This is my hair the same evening that I prepared this mask.
Thank you so much for reading my post. I really hope it will be useful for you, if you think it might be useful to someone else, please reblog it! :)
