Hello beautiful people
Two years ago I germinated avocados. He died from being damaged while moving to another city. For the last few days, I had been burning with a desire to germinate avocados again. I was worried if it would germinate again, but I decided to do it anyway.
I love plants. Sometimes I think that because of this love, the house will be full of plants. Plants that usually do not bloom attract me more. I have a lot of plants in my house right now. This love started to increase when I bought a few plants. So actually, when I started growing plants with my own efforts, I really liked this sense of usefulness. As time passed, I couldn't help myself. Whenever I came home I found plants somewhere. We exchange plants with my neighbor every summer, as we do now. Sometimes I buy a seedling from him, sometimes he takes it from me. We give each other a reproduction of plants. It would be more correct to say that my love for plants has infected him too.
A neighbor of mine gave me a bonsai type plant today. I was so happy that I cannot describe it. Another gift that makes me so happy is books. Books and plants are indispensable for me. Anyway, let's get back to the subject without much ado.
After eating the avocado, I washed the seeds.
I dipped four toothpicks into the avocado seed in a circular rotation.
Then I placed the avocado seed in a glass of water. It is important to prevent the seed from falling into the water with a toothpick.
If you do not have toothpicks at home, you can produce different alternatives as long as the seed remains on the water surface.
They actually peel the avocado seeds, but I did not. I have never had a problem like this before.
The seed will start to germinate in approximately 1 - 1.5 months of water. We have to wait patiently in this process.
I will plant it in humus soil when the roots start to thicken.
Since I do not plant it for fruiting, I do not plan to vaccinate it when it becomes a seedling. I wanted to sprout because I liked the look of its leaves.
Let's see what awaits us in this process. From time to time I will keep you informed of the developments. Thanks in advance for reading and supporting.
