Making my own paints ... so far used terracotta, shells, slate stones from sacred sites around the Uk and there is a mid grey one I didn’t get much of but is beautiful. Think I’ll start simple with tones of reds and creams and a touch of mid grey. Has anyone every used crystals to make paint?
My next step now I have powdered is to add mixing medium and water. There are a few options here but I will try the acrylic route.
