Yesterday afternoon, after months of considering it and having finally ordered and received ( several weeks later ) a remedy, and I started our first heavy metal detox, around 3 PM.
Even the lowest dose ( as advised for sensitive people ) seemed to have a serious effect on us. We fell asleep and slept for about an hour and a half.
Clare seemed to be affected quite a bit more than me, which makes sense as she is a master at feeling (into her emotions) and has struggled with serious health issues for quite a while ( more on the latter in her write up from earlier this month: Healing Crisis - What happens when we choose to listen fully to our health )
Suffice to say that our night was very intense and that - at some point in time - I decided to move to the spare bed ( in a corner of our big bedroom ) so both of us could feel into our own feelings a bit more and possibly sleep better.
Nevertheless, we both experienced a night of interrupted sleep with intense dreams. Nothing out of the ordinary though for us ( since we got together, almost 7 months ago ) and it totally makes sense at the start of a detox.
I woke up a bit shaken but also more clear minded ( and so did Clare ).
As it's a chilly day after an intense night and because we can ( being the masters of our own time), we crawled back into bed after breakfast. I am writing this post and Clare is needle working/working on yet another piece of clothing, right next to me.
I just took a second dose of the remedy.
Clare decided to wait a bit longer and feel into when she's ready for hers.
She just informed me that there's a new podcast episode today, on one of the shows that she listens to a lot, where they talk about the detox that we've just started.
Coincidence? I don't think so.

Detoxing from heavy metals/ nano toxins - that we unfortunately get more and more of in our systems, these days - is supposed to lead to: better sleep quality, more vivid dreams, more physical energy, improved cognitive function, less aches and pains, improved conscious awareness and more daily joy.
We were advised to attach a rating to these subjects for us and see how they would improve/change over time.
Here's what I jotted down, yesterday afternoon, before taking my first dose:
Fingers crossed for those numbers going up in the very near future and for Clare and my health improving.
