Hi everyone,
I already showed you that I tried to dry flowers I want to use for my nail design.
Today I want to show you an update about it.
I tried lots of different flowers. They are all wildflowers which I collected in the forest or the fields while I walked my dog π Unfortunately, I don't know all the names of them π, but here are some photos...
Buttercup
Rampion Bellflower
It's funny that some are still purple and others are more colorless.
I didn't make any differences in drying.
I tried using hairspray but it didn't make any difference. So I skipped this step.
Goutweed
I dipped them in watercolor to have them in different variations π
I did this in two different ways. First I dipped them in color and dried them. The other method was to dry them first, then dip them in paint and dry them again. The first way is faster, but the second way helps to have them more open and don't stick together so much. Sure they aren't as colorful as the ones you can buy, but they definitely are cheaper π
Different flowers I don't know the names...
I store them in pill boxes.
They are dark and so they don't get so much daylight.
Today I'm doing my nails again. I've planned to make them every Monday, so that I can show you every Tuesday the new design π But I'm not sure if I'll use some of my flowers. We will see π
βββ Question βββ
Have you ever used dried flowers on nails?
That's all for now, enjoy your day and thanks for reading π
