¡Hola a todos los amantes del Cosplay! Por donde vivo no suelen hacer muchas celebraciones de Halloween, así que no me molesté en preparar un traje desde cero para usarlo en estas fechas, sin mencionar que el clima, totalmente nublado la mayor parte del día, no era para nada alentador. Luego de hacer unas cuantas diligencias en el centro de la ciudad, descansé un rato en casa. Había llovido bastante en la mañana y la salida que había pensado realizar en la tarde, estuvo a punto de ser cancelada. Ya que, durante mi caminata en el centro, había utilizado mis botas para lluvia, pero en la salida de la tarde, utilizaría unos zapatos distintos. Por suerte, el clima estuvo de mi lado y salió el sol, por lo que me atreví a ponerme mi outfit de diablillo Arlequín y salí a pasear un par de horas a un centro comercial que queda cerca del lugar de donde resido.

Hello to all cosplay lovers! Where I live they don't usually have many Halloween celebrations, so I didn't bother to prepare a costume from scratch to wear on these dates, not to mention that the weather, totally cloudy most of the day, was not encouraging at all. After running a few errands downtown, I rested at home for a while. It had rained a lot in the morning and the outing that he had planned to do in the afternoon was about to be cancelled. Since, during my walk downtown, I had used my rain boots, but on the afternoon outing, I would use different shoes. Luckily, the weather was on my side and the sun came out, so I dared to put on my Harlequin devil outfit and went out for a couple of hours to a shopping center near where I live.

Salí con mi novio algo tarde de casa, pero como mencioné, debido a la lluvia, mis planes se atrasaron. Así que cuando llegué al centro comercial, ya había anochecido. El sitio, estaba decorado totalmente con temática navideña y uno que otro local, mantenía el espíritu de Halloween. Lo primero que hicimos al llegar, fue comprar un helado grande para compartir. La semana que pasó, estuvo algo pesada, así que era bueno darse una pequeña recompensa. Y valió la pena, pues el helado estaba sumamente delicioso.

I left home with my boyfriend a little late, but as I mentioned, due to the rain, my plans were delayed. So by the time I got to the mall, it was already dark. The site was totally decorated with a Christmas theme and one or another place, kept the spirit of Halloween. The first thing we did upon arrival was buy a large ice cream to share. The past week was a bit heavy, so it was good to give yourself a little reward. And it was worth it, because the ice cream was extremely delicious.

Luego de eso, fuimos a caminar un poco y a tomarnos fotografías. Bueno, más que nada tomármelas a mí, aprovechando la ocasión de mi cosplay (No lo mencioné, pero es de Fizzarolli de la serie Helluva Boss). El lugar estaba algo vacío, seguramente por la hora y por el clima. Encontré unos chicos que también estaban usando disfraces y aproveché a tomarme fotos con ellos, el resto, sólo eran niños pequeños. Algunos me saludaron y me preguntaron de qué era mi disfraz. En la calle ya me habían felicitado por mi traje y hasta me llamaron "gatita", fue muy cómico.

After that, we went for a little walk and to take pictures. Well, mostly taking it from me, taking advantage of the occasion of my cosplay (I didn't mention it, but it's from Fizzarolli from the Helluva Boss series). The place was somewhat empty, probably because of the time and the weather. I found some guys who were also wearing costumes and I took the opportunity to take pictures with them, the rest were just little kids. Some greeted me and asked me what my costume was. In the street they had already congratulated me on my suit and they even called me "kitten", it was very funny.

Por lo general, todo el año ando pensando en lo que prepararé para fechas como estas. Pero, debido a mis ocupaciones, el día llega y termino elaborando algo contra reloj o simplemente, no hago nada. Me hubiese gustado, por lo menos, hacer algo para mi gato. Más otra vez, no pude hacerlo. Creo que debería organizarme mejor, aunque supongo que las preocupaciones que he tenido últimamente colaboraron a que dejara la actividad del Cosplay en segundo plano (o ni siquiera eso).

In general, all year long I am thinking about what I will prepare for dates like these. But, due to my occupations, the day arrives and I end up working on something against the clock or simply do nothing. I would have liked to at least do something for my cat. Again, I couldn't do it. I think I should organize myself better, although I guess the worries I've been having lately contributed to putting the Cosplay activity in the background (or not even that).

Me gusta mucho hacer Cosplay. Todo el proceso, desde la selección del personaje, hasta la elaboración del traje, es una actividad que me puede consumir por completo. Y ahora que tengo mi maquina de coser conmigo, pensé que de nuevo estaría en las andadas... pero he preferido usar el dinero en otras cosas, que gastarlo en tela. Pero usar ese outfit, me hizo recordar cuanto me gusta éste Hobbie. Espero realmente volver a realizarlo como se debe.

I really like doing cosplay. The whole process, from the selection of the character, to the elaboration of the costume, is an activity that can completely consume me. And now that I have my sewing machine with me, I thought I'd be back on my feet again... but I've preferred to use the money on other things, rather than spending it on fabric. But wearing that outfit, made me remember how much I like this hobby. I really hope to do it again as it should be.
