Today I made the cheese cake that shared. It was really simple to make and it turned out great! Go check out her post for the recipe.
I had to make a few substitutions. I wanted cheese cake TODAY, and grocery shopping is a real BEE. I’m not a cool homesteader with a goat (YET) either.
I didn’t have cream cheese or lemons. But I did have a bucket of pressed yogurt, and pears. So that’s what I used instead, and it still turned out all cheese cakey and delicious.
I was also whining about how the recipe suggests leaving it in the fridge overnight to chill. But assured me that a few hours would do just to make sure it’s set. We ate the shit out of that cake at snack time and then I took a picture of it in front of a pile of dirty dishes.
Ya’ll had your panties in a knot over how clean my kitchen was in my Pina Colada Peddler Pudding post. I thought I’d switch it up today and get a nice relatable messy countertop in the background.
